As above, it’s a good product. I use it to pressure-cook beans (works great), and I have tried it with rice (it was fine, not amazing), and a few pressure-cooker dishes (worked great). I think it being easy to clean is very important, because my previous pressure cooker was so hard to clean. This one doesn’t release steam while pressure cooking, which might be the key to less messiness. There’s a few small downsides to this product:1. There’s no timer or countdown for the time after you finish pressure cooking. Why does that matter? Recipes may say to cook for 30 minutes, leave for 15 minutes, and then vent the steam. If you cook it this way, you need to start a timer yourself when it beeps that it’s done.(There is a timer only if you want to keep the food warm.)2. Venting the steam, it can “spit” at you a little. So I turn the valve with a chopstick.

I’m not a big fan of cooking — I don’t know how to cook even rice and when follow the receipt always end up with the burned meal. However, this little thing is perfect. Firstly, you can forget that you cooked anything without consequences. What is more — the food is tastier and looks healthier (or I just ensure myself that it is, anyway I’m happy with it).Ideal for 4 meals and I really like that you can cook side dish and meat at the same time (salmon with red potato mmm). Have read that you can cook a cheesecake in the pot, but so far haven’t tried.

A wonderful product! I barely cook and was very scare of the pressure cook. I was deeply worried that it would mass up since my first try was curry. And it turned out this product was really amazing! I can barely hear it when the pressure cook model started. And 20 minutes went very fast. When I open the lid I thought the curry would cover the lid and I need so much time to soap it and clean it. Fortunately it was so clean like nothing except some water on it. And the potato and beef were so soft and tender. I would recommend it to my friends who also barely cook.

My husband bought me the Mini Instant Pot for my birthday because my sister was raving about hers. He didn’t think I would really use it, so he bought me the small one. There is only two of us so I just cut all my recipes in half. It’s hard to make small individual recipes that require small custard size dishes because they just don’t stack in this small of a pot. But I absolutely love everything I have made in it. It’s unbelievable how fast and tender everything cooks up. I’ve only had it for a week and have cooked in it 5 times. There are so many good recipes on the internet, plus everyone knows someone that has an Instant Pot and they love to share their favorite recipes with you. My only regret is having the small Instant Pot so I’ll probably be buying the 5qt pot in the very near future.

I purchased the Instant Pot LUX Mini (3 Quart) Electric Pressure Cooker and the Cosori 2 Quart Pressure Cooker. I prefer the Instant Pot for a number of reasons. The 3 quart capacity is more convenient when cooking for 2 people. The Instant Pot has a feature which warns you & prevents you from burning items like oatmeal or rice. The Instant Pot has a digital display which is easier to use & understand. I like the fact that the Instant Pot has a pressure valve on the top of the lid which can be viewed to show whether the unit is pressurized or not (even if the device is unplugged). The Instant Pot does a superb job of cooking rice, beans, soup, and oatmeal. The rice is easy to make and tastes better than I ever expected. I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase an electric pressure cooker. I’m glad that I now own the Instant Pot LUX Mini which seems to be the perfect Pressure Cooker (and Slow Cooker) for me.

I held off buying an Instant Pot for far too long! We haven’t had a bad dish yet. I was skeptical at all the 5 star ratings of both the Instant Pots and recipes, but am happy to admit I’m eating my words…and much more quickly! It’s so easy to use and clean. The duo is perfect for my husband and I but if cooking for more people definitely get at least the traditional size. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I’m a guy. Usually I don’t cook, but this little gem is a life saver! The most savory, tender and succulent roast beef you have ever had in 70 minutes! So easy, open the lid, throw in some sauce, mushroom soup, 8oz of Merlot and a couple of pounds of pot roast seasoned with garlic. Then plug it in, put on the lid, press the meat button, add 10 minutes to the pre-programmed 60 minutes and go have a beer! You won’t believe it! And you can do that with so many things! Experiment, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

This is the second Instant Pot we have purchased. They are versatile, easy to use, and capable of producing excellent meals in a short time. With a 6-quart and, now, a 3-quart Instant Pot, we have replaced two slow cookers and a rice cooker while gaining functionality and saving cabinet space. With just one Instant Pot cookbook, combined with countless recipes found on-line, we’re eating quite well and with relative ease. Even though the inner pot is not coated, the fact that the moisture level is high while cooking means that cleanup is much easier than we initially expected. VERY pleased with both Instant Pots!
